I am a freelance photojournalist in order to tell the stories and to capture energy, love, people and history through the lens. The visual image only reflects 1/100th of a second in time, photo stories are a series of images that record events during any given amount of time.

During my travels, I have met the most beautiful people, whose lives are either in disarray or normal. I have been interested in gathering the truth of events, the behind the scenes stories rather than the mainstream headline news. I like to meet the people and record their life stories, their passions and concerns.

My photographs reflect the effect of what occurs around them, how other peoples actions change their lives. I am somewhat the social or people photographer, letting others talk while I write and listen and snap the images with my camera. This is my passion.

On the professional level, I have stringed for both Reuters and AP, contracted with International NGO's, produced photography workshops on identity for refugees, exhibited the images on an international level, and mostly had the outlets to tell the stories to others.

I am open to negotiations about the commercial licensing of my photos and am willing to go on assignment for that special story or image your company/NGO needs in order to generate visibility. I have worked as a communication officer for the UN, generating magazines, documentary films, upgrading photo data bases, and organizing events for visibility.
